Photographer Criticized For Bike Crash Photos

A photographer has come under fire in China for his pictures of a man falling off a bicycle.
The man took a spectacular digger in Xiamen city after his bike hit a pot-hole submerged in rainwater.

But photographer Liu Tao was accused of lying in wait to take his pictures instead of warning people of the danger.

Readers of the Beijing Youth Daily, which published the shots, wrote in to express their feelings.
One wrote: "The pictures are well shot, but the person who shot this is disgusting. He knew there was a pit, but was waiting there for someone to fall over."
And another said: "The photographer should really be condemned since he knew there definitely would be other victims."

Liu defended himself, saying: "I just knew that the city government has paved the pit, and without my pictures, the pit would not be noticed by the government, and there would perhaps be more people falling over."

Whatever the case, photos of a man going ass-over-teakettle holding an umbrella while he flips over on his bike are pretty darn funny.

Another "train game" I've been tagged by Must Read Files (thank's dunn!). This time is a blog Link game that is gaining in popularity and it is going to help you increase your Feed Readers, called Feed Link Chain.

RSS subscriber based is one of the key factors to measure the success of a blog. That is how popular the blog is and what is the “reach”. For example, ReviewMe.com used this to evaluate the value of a blog when determining how much the blog should get if it review a product or service by the advertisers.

Here's the rules :

(1) Add your name and the feed link to the chain along with the names and feeds of three blogs that you would like to include.
(2) Simply publish the new list to your blog and allow your readers to participate in the game by continuing the chain.

Germans not amused

LONDON: (AFP) British tourists have left the residents of one charming Austrian village effing and blinding by constantly stealing the signs for their oddly named village.

While British visitors are finding it hilarious, the residents of Fucking are falling to see the funny side. Only one kind of criminal ever stalks the sleepy 32 houses village near Salzburg on the German border cheeky British tourists armed with a sense of humour and a screwdriver.

But the local authorities are hitting back and with the signs now set in concrete, police chief Kommandant Schmidtberger is on the look out. "We will not stand for the Fucking signs being removed," the officer said. "It may be very amusing for you British, but Fucking is simply Fucking to us. What is this big Fucking joke? It is puerile."

Local tourist guide Andreas Rehmueller said it was only the British that had a fixation with Fucking. "The Germans all want to see the Mozart house in Salzburg," he explained. "Every American seems to care only about The Sound of Music (the 1965 film shot around Salzburg). The occasional Japanese wants to Hitler's birth place in Braunau. "But for the British, it's all about Fucking."

Guesthouse manager Augustina Lindbauer described the village's breathtaking lakes, forests and vistas. "Yet still there is this obsession with Fucking," she said. "Just this morning I had to tell an English lady who stopped by that there were no Fucking postcards."

If you want to be the top 100 Favorite Blogs in Technorati, you should involve in it.

The rule is very simple. You favorite back for those who had added you to their Technorati favorites. So you need to go through all of the people who have favorited you and trying to find the ones you haven’t favorited back. And it will take hours upon hours to do it.
